I'm lookin' out my window and I see a lot of gray.
Looks like it's gonna be another wintry day. Grab my coat, grab my hat, check my app. Yes, there's gonna be some snow, and it's comin' all the way. It looks like snow. I see the Snow. Here comes the snow. Just let it snow. It looks like snow. I see the Snow. Here comes the snow. Just let it snow. (Part 1) Just let it snow, snow, snow, snow Snow, snow snow, snow. The Charlie Brown flakes are falling slowly from the sky right on my nose and on the lashes of my eyes. Floatin down to the ground, all around. Yes, there's gonna be some snow, and it's really gonna fly. It looks like snow. I see the Snow. Here comes the snow. Just let it snow. It looks like snow. I see the Snow. Here comes the snow. Just let it snow. (Part 1) Just let it snow, snow, snow, snow Snow, snow snow, snow. (Part 1) Snow, snow, snow, snow. Snow, snow, snow, snow. (SPOKEN:) SNOW |
(Part 2) Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow. Snow, snow, snow, snow. (Part 2) Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow. Snow, snow, snow, snow. (Part 2) Snow, snow, snow, snow, snow. Snow, snow, snow, snow. |
Red bird singing from the old pine tree.
Hidden in a stand of evergreens. Horsedrawn sleigh movin' on its way in a winter scene. Holly berries peeking through the snow. Crimson like the feathers with their glow. Ivy vines with their leaves entwined where the pine trees grow. Red bird, sing for me, from your perch in that tree. Red bird, won't you stay? Red bird, don't fly away. Ooh. |
It's chilly tonight. I see my breath in the air.
Suddenly Fall has given way to the Winter. The wind's in the trees, swirling their leaves ev'rywhere. The nip at my cheek reminds me of what is to come. And I sigh a sigh as I say goodbye to the painted trees and the Autumn sky. And I look instead to the days ahead. Ans I brace myself for the Winter. Nature, it seems, knows when December is here. Birds have flown south, leaving me for the Winter. The next thing you know blankets of snow will appear. Bringing beauty only the Winter can bring. Still I sigh a sigh as I say goodbye to the painted trees and the Autumn sky. And I look instead to the days ahead. And I brace myself for the Winter. For the Winter For the Winter For the Winter |
